Wow! What a great book for both fans of Bobby's as well as anyone who would like to get a wonderful perspective on life, family and business relationships. Some great laughs, a few tears and just plain good old common sense.
Love this book, but not at all surprised as I love Bobby Collins and see him each time he is in town at a local comedy club! I have a hard copy of the book signed by Bobby, but am a nut, so I bought it for my to enjoy it that way. Read it .... Its a good read.
It was a fantastic and fun read! I truly loved it and I feel like those of us who have followed Bobby Collins for years as a comedian have finally been able to get to know him so much better as a person, a husband, a dad, a friend, a businessman, a philanthropist, and a regular guy.
Bobby's witicisms and pearls of wisdom are those types of common sense things that we all kind of already know ... but we easily forget in the day-to-day rat race of life. It was a fun and easy read ... and went by so quickly because I wanted to know what "lesson" was going to be in the next chapter. I also enjoyed the style in which it was written; i.e. first he provides the lesson, and then he goes on to explain it, and then he gives a real-world personal example. Plus, all the comedy throughout the book, well that was the icing on the cake. Two thumbs up!
This is quick read, but wow...Bobby comes off as a hero in every story he tells. I'm fascinated how somebody can be so arrogant.
